Dave Claussen, VP of Software Engineering

At six feet four inches, Dave literally stands above the crowd. Tim hired Dave fresh out of engineering school to work at Motorola, and was immediately impressed. Dave used his creative problem solving skills to define a process for programming millions of cell phones in the factory, a process that became a Motorola corporate standard. With immense vision and talent, Dave wasn’t satisfied working at a big company and immediately went to work as the technical force behind several startups, including one startup in Illinois where he helped raise $11.4 million in venture funding. Most recently, Dave worked at Archiblox, LLC, where he was chief software architect. As principal consultant for nVISIA, LLC, and Co-CEO of Confirmative Technologies, Dave built enterprise-class internet solutions for several Fortune 500 clients, including GE, Harley-Davidson, General Motors, and American Family Insurance.

Dave has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
